Skippy,a little pixie once found a shoelace and he used it in his shoes.It was a magical shoelace.Skippy dreamt of sweets and he found them in his pockets.He dreamt of a kitten and found it on his foot.He wished for a Golden suit and he got it.He told about it to his friend Tickles,the gnome.Tickles wondered about a suit,Skippy wished for it and Tickles got the Golden suit.He wished for a nice dinner and ponies,and every time he got it.Tickles and Skippy then got into a fight over a pony.Later theyu realised that it was happening because of the shoelace.Skippy tried to loosen it but it turned in to snake.Suddenly all the magical objects,ponies,suit,everything vanished.They wondered that if they had not fought they would not have lost everything.
This book has a lot of short stories which are fun to read.I love Enid Blyton.
